Enzo Raiola: Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper in the world
Donnarumma's agent Enzo Raiola has hailed the Italy international as the best goalkeeper in the world.
Raiola made the comments in an interview with Corriere dello Sport, in which he also discussed Donnarumma's future at Milan.
Donnarumma has been linked with a move away from Milan for several months, with Real Madrid and Juventus both reported to be interested in signing him.
However, Raiola insists that Donnarumma is happy at Milan and wants to stay at the club.
"Gigio is the best goalkeeper in the world," Raiola said. "He is only 22 years old and he has already won so much. He is a leader on and off the pitch."
"Gigio is happy at Milan and he wants to stay here. He has a contract until 2023 and he will honor it. He is focused on winning trophies with Milan and helping the team return to the top of Serie A."
Donnarumma has been in impressive form for Milan this season, keeping 10 clean sheets in 21 Serie A appearances.
He has also been a key player for Italy, helping the Azzurri win the European Championship last summer.
Donnarumma's future at Milan is still uncertain, but it is clear that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and is a key player for both club and country.
